Calculation Methods

DWA-A 138-1 (10/2024) / DWA-A 138 (04/2005)

Iterative calculation with heavy rainfall intensities (KOSTRA-DWD). The rainfall intensity for an optionally selected duration level and return period can be freely determined.

ATV-A 138 (Reinhold rainfall intensity)

Calculation using the location-specific rainfall intensity according to Reinhold (r(D=15min,n=1)) in accordance with ATV-A 138.
